Maybe you enjoyed the the story. Was there one?
Maybe I just will never fully understand this movie and its greatness is beyond my own intellectual capacity.

If you want to see a real bit of urban warfare see "Children Of Men". Now thats a good action sequence. Not this Tripe from transformers. The fight scenes between them were even pathetic. The jump twist to dodge bullets in slow motion that was used a few times. And I believe I have seen that a few times in his other movies, Bad Boys anyone?

i havent seen the movie so i cant judge but i see what ur saying... alot of movies today are either, being redone, sequals to movies from the 80's, and now it seems that they will be making more movies out of every single comics(gimme a break! ) why can't they make more original movies instead of bringing up things from the past?....

Well god damn that was fun. Total Michael Bay bad-dialogue-macho-crap-all-that's-wrong-with-america but great visuals and sound, totally enjoyable junk food. And Shia LeBeouf made it bearable, very funny.

Well finding parking sucked so i got stuck in the front row for the DLP showing of it... My neck is killing but from what i could see it looked really good. It is pretty standard action fare but the chick is hot, the lead is funny and there were enough inside geek jokes to keep me laughing.

If you were going looking on an intellectual discourse on politics and philosophy... dude it's a Michael Bay movie! /smack

I liked it, but i need to see it again from the middle of the audience so i can fully appreciate/review things.

Then again, once i heard Optimus' voice and saw him transform for the first time, i was like "yep that was worth the money" been waiting for that since i was like 7 years old.

hahahaha!! still haven't seen the movie, but i've learned to laugh at movies when they're clearly cheap, cliche, or tawdry, which kinda makes watching movies a fun time whether they're good or bad. maybe i'll catch this in the next few weeks.

is it at the IMAX for sure? some ppl said no. i havent had time to check it yet (im at lunch here right now)

hm nothing planned as of yet.

god i love transformers..EENT OONT EENT OONT

sorta off-topic: i just found my BANZAI (Macross) transformer-ish toy in my house over the wknd. i remember my relatives had bought it for me when I was 9 yrs old and i looked at it and was like, "WTF, this isnt authetic TRANSFORMERS!!!" and totally messed it up. Bandai as u know is responsible for Macross and authentic Voltron merchandising. :p (damns im weird, coming up with this random memory :p )

God damn it... I just drove to NY last week. I really don't want to drive to NYC just to see transformers in IMAX. They need to have a showing around Boston. Maybe i will just combine it with a club night or something.

CALM DOWN EVERYONE!!! Yes it is playing within the same complex as IMAX but it is NOT, I REPEAT IS NOT, playing on the IMAX screen, Spider-man is still playing on IMAX followed by Harry Potter IMAX 3-D next.

Robby sounds like a good idea but you all will have to make the plans cause I have no interest in seeing this movie at all.
