My air conditioner has been dead for a week now, it's been 90+ for two days. We are getting a new one tomorrow, but damn, I hear you. I'm sweating horribly. |

| my ac takes a long time to start cooling the room off for some reason. I dont turn it on until I get home but damn it's been about 3 hours now and its just starting to feel cool! |

I wouldn't turn it off. Keep it on the lowest setting, that way it won't have to work harder. that's if it's on a thermostat, though. Do you have a window unit, or central air? |
