SPACE HAS BOOKED FERRY, ARMIN, TIESTO & MARKUS IN THE PAST. WHY NOT RECENTLY OR IN THE WORKS IS BEYOND MY KNOWLEDGE (MAYBE MARKUS CAN SHARE SOME LIGHT ON US ON THIS SUBJECT)

I spoke to Ferry about this on Tuesday night, and he was a gentleman in describing the whole thing, and like Ambs I won't repeat what he said to me cause its not my place to share, but Ferry is now spinning at Mansion, at least in October when he's back down here.

Face it, I am a Space fan but something is funny in the water that DJs are not going back there :P

Okay guys now COME ON! Non of you have seen Kenneth Thomas or have you ??
I saw him when he came to Yage, and I only remember seen Melly, Renzo I think and Arturo there, and that party was one of the best parties I attended that year. He really knows how to throw a well blended structured set. He's pretty good down to earth guy, I believe former TA too. Support the guy for he's success, and if you haven't seen him go check him out. He's been under the Perfecto Umbrella because he saw talent on this guy. You know that's the way Perfecto rolls, finds talent and actually helps them grow. Look at Hernan Cattaneo, D:Fuse, Sandra Collins etc etc.. we may hate on Oakenfold but we can;t argue that he's surrounded himself with exceptional artists. And Kenneth Thomas has a lot of that.

Come on guys

Kenneth has been an intricle force in getting Detroit Progressive and Trance to move anywhere ahead... while he is now enjoying the benefits of many years of hard work, i as well as many other Detroit deejays are benefiting from the trail he started here... KT definetely knows about structure and how to 'deliver' a set... go check him out and then make 'educated' comments =)

KT was great

& I was a frequent partier @ YAGE an trust me.. he kept that place slamming packed.

Plus the weather was cool and the vibe at the Yage patio is BEAUTIFUL!

I had a blast that night. I think it's awesome Space is even bringing in a new FACE! You guys should appreciate it more and stop worrying about the same 5 big names. Yes they rock it over and over.

No one likes to support anyone when they're in their beginning stages anymore.

People LOVE to wait and see if they blow up or become more well known.
My opinion, notice talent early & grow with the artist...support is what an artist needs ESPECIALLY if they're good.

I've never heard anything from KT but I'm sure it's way better than the good ol' crap fest that Space usually has (i.e OG, Cedric, etc)

so in terms of having an up & coming person, I'm all for it.
Yeah it sux that Space doesn't book Markus etc but it's been that way for a while and although I completely disagree and hate it, we all know Miami isn't trance anymore except WMC when you're lucky to catch some trance acts or the occasional surprise we get down here.

i'm all for supporting new talent... i just think its ironic space claims they wont make enough money bringing in some well known djs yet they bring in someone pretty unknown.
they contradict themselves...

eitherway, i won't go to this simply because i hate space as a club and the only way I'll go to space is to see DJs that I REALLY want to see.... If KT was playing somewhere else, I'd actually consider it :)

you don't fall in that cat. you basically discovered Armin :toothless haha

no but I totally get what you mean in the first paragraph, it's so true.

I just think it's not a money issue but more of a GENRE issue which they don't want to fully admit

again, your wrong, there are bringing him in on a FRIDAY, which they do all the time now with any trance/prog act nowadays. friday is gravy for them, their money nite is saturday. get it right. all this misguided hating on space becuase they dont bring in "your favorite djs" (i wonder why?) is getting tiresome. the bottom line for any business is money, not pleasing a bunch of trance fans, who share waters and suck on lollipops. i mean if you owned a business, and know that you could put 2k people thru the door and not pay superstar dj rates and still make more money, wouldnt you? as much as i hate to admit it, saleen is right, the day of the superstar dj and their outrageous booking fees is nearing extinction.:wtf:
