And for the record, I don't hate vocal trance, I just think one has to be careful when producing such a beast since it doesn't take much to swing it into realms of omfgwhyness. |
what kills me are the armin whores who LOVE that exact kinda . they are rolling too hard off of 7 pills that they cant tell the vocals SUCK! |

blech, it just instilled awful imagery of a marginally obese woman professing her love for cold cuts and me while trying to two step to prog.
Don't ask me how it instilled such imagery either.

lyrics for vocal trance are generally crap but if the singer is good like this particular track everything comes our fine |

exactly my thoughts. Don't like this all that much. Tip toeing the line of so well it makes it . |
it didnt hurt me to hear it, but i wasnt really digging it either. i like the beat a lot, but its gotta lose the vocals. |

for me theres only 2 names i EVER want to see singing a trance track...
1) Julie Thompson
2) Kirtsy Hawkshaw
thats it! if you have either one of those, you dont need anyone else. oh and i would say Sarah Mclachlan, but she does her own stuff and then it gets remixed into trance. so i dont really count that. |

I wish people would get it through their heads that you don't even need lyrics in electronic music vocals. It'd really help detract from annoying cheese. Nothing (93 Returning) is a perfect example. Just panned vocals of gibberish done well is all you need for the most part. Because no, I don't feel much like touching the sun, I'd rather go punt a football, and no, I would rather not hold you now, I'm busy wanking. |
:stongue:
its true, i never listen to the lyrics. whenever i do its cuz its a ty song that puts too much emphasis on the ty vocals and then i dont like the track cuz it made me hear that bull. |

I'm not too happy about it either. The lyrics don't really fit. |

dont get me started on mashups. what happened to the good old days when djs did mashups live? now they just play one off a cdr and its ty to begin anyway. that. mashups are supposed to be on the spot creativity, not some preproduced .
i cant even think of ONE good mashup right now. |
