The Chemical Brothers have not played an event like this in L.A. since Audiotistic. There Coachella set was amaizing. I think I might have to miss the Love Parade for this.
By the way they said it was in Downtown L.A. too. |

I have been to the LoveParade the last few years. I always go to Nocturnal every year. What it comes down to is the Love Parade ends up costing like 10 times the amount of money then Noctural will.
And the fact that I love The Chemical Brothers! And DnB! |

While I probably won't complain if they play up here around the same time, I don't see what's so exciting. Their productions are no where near what they used to be. I told a few fans of their's here and one of them said he walked out last time they played here LIVE.
I haven't heard their new album yet. Have heard mixed things about it.
I think they are great DJs though....one of my most memorable nights is when they DJed here on a Tuesday night a few years back. It was insanity! I'd love to see them DJ again, but don't have much interest in seeing them live.
I'd pay 10 times more to go to LoveFest than to go to a event just because they are playing. But that's just me! |

| uhh let's think about this... pvd will be in sf the night before he's in la... of all the dozens of edm promoters up here throwing parties that weekend there's a good chance someone out of the bunch will pick up the chemical brothers for their pre or post lovefest party also. since not a single promoter has made an announcement yet, the sky's the limit for all any of us know. you wanna squander your weekend on a one-night rave in la or you wanna join the grown ups for a weekend-long rager in the bay? |
