Cable ties ftw!
Or even better, velcro strips! |

velcro straps all the way.
if not, masking tape is good. it won't stick too hard to your cables, but wrap it enough, and it will be secure. it's also easy to lable w/a sharp-e if you have to.
also, when i make my next run of cables, i want to use techflex to keep everything organized.

Use PCV insulating tape to bind cables together.
If they are going to used on floors and moved about often, I recommend using Piosil. Pliosil is a finely woven material that when bunched up, it expands (kind of like mexican finger trap). So you cut it to length of your cables, bunch it up, so the diameter expands, stuff the cables through it, then stretch it along the length of your cables.
Otherwise you could always use zip ties........ |

Nope, just the ones you use.. ;-)
I use both, nylon cable ties for permanent / semi-permanent wrting runs
Velcro ones for things that I may have to tweak.. |
