Ferry's new radio show... "Corsten's Countdown"

Looks like Ferry's new radioshow has just been announced, starting next wednesday!

Here he is talking a little bit about the new show...
“At the very beginning of my career I listened to a Dutch Radio show called 'The Soulshow' , this was the first radio show playing imported dance records from the US & UK. I was impressed not only with the music but also the way the show was produced.
During my first production years I used to have my own radio show on a small radio station in my hometown Rotterdam. It was loads of fun even if it was a lot of work. With the development of technology and all these cool gadgets, I can now produce a radio show according to a concept and standard that I am proud of even while travelling. Corsten’s Countdown is not just a radio show with good music but a show that’s well produced, fun to listen to, and interactive as well. I am really excited that I can finally pick up my old passion of radio and give it a fresh twist”.

Corsten’s Countdown will premiere on Wednesday July 4, 2007 at 8 pm CET on DI.fm.

DI.FM:
Every Wednesday @ 2 PM US ET / 11 AM US PT/ 8 PM CET/ 7 PM UK TIME

XM Radio (BPM Channel):
Every Wednesday @ 11 PM US ET / 8 PM US PT / 5 AM CET / 4 AM UK TIME
Every Sunday @ 7 PM US ET / 4 PM US PT / 1 AM CET / 12 PM UK TIME

can't wait....no but in all seriousness there are one too many sub-par radio stations out there, hopefully this one doesnt join it. I like ferry a little, like one to four of his tracks join my top 50ish.

hahah me too.
but his ability to produce doesnt have allot to do with conducting a radio show.
of course he will showcase his new , but different skillsets apply to each.
im eager to tune in just to see if there is any difference with his show and other shows.

Mr. Corsten's analysts probably realized he was losing his american market share, so they had to go with the most viable and proven solution, the weekly radio show during american youth primetime hours.

Can you blame him for this move? I think this would be better than Tiesto's Club Life, imo.
