(BUT I thought the same thing with Coxy, only to find out they stuck the headliner on the opening time slot:wtf:...I will trust that this year will be different though)

Yeah but we promoted him as the opener and it was advertised that way on the flyers. So it's not we were misleading the public, in thinking Carl Cox was playing a prime slot.

besides it's already announced that Blank & Jones and Crystal Method are Ruby Skye's weekend headliners for LoveFest =)

Sasha will have a great slot for the event no worries =)

alain: have you heard anything about the LoveLee party? i remember a while back there was talk that it wasnt happening at the usual place which is where it has been for the past few years which pretty much makes it not going to happen?

Why? This is what I got for VIP in 2005 :whip: , will it be any better?

btw, those are empty cases of Kirkland bottled water under the table. Not even any F'n bottled water! Last year I got regular tix...waited in line 45 mins at the bar, but there was no VIP bar in 2005 so I was still ahead. :D

Oh wow, the line-up is a lot ing better than last year. Sasha, Fortier, Three, Glaude, J00F and Ferry. I'll pass on the VIP tickets this year. I got them last year because we were promised quick entry (especially after what happened in 2005) but Jesus ing Christ was that situation handled poorly; no line was roped off, no venue employees knew what the was going on even twenty minutes after the doors opened, and there was absolutely zero speedy entry. The line was more sardine-caned and cluster-ed than the front of any main stage during an Oakenfold "set."

I'll go, but I seriously hope you guys have the line problems fixed this year. I've been far from impressed each time I've attended.

Alain can u book Sean Tyas or if that could please!!!!

Will do...

thats what we should do...

start making a list of all the things that need to be improved this year...

cant promise anything...

dont forget, this will only be the 4th year...

other festivals have had a lot of practice at it...

so we (meaning skills/spundae/us mofo's) will work together to improve everything!

1. efficient line control (especially for the VIP's)
2. better food in the VIP, and more water...
3. hot chicks with big boobies for the 72HrParty Animal!
4.

The big reason behind the whole cluster-you know what at the LF afterparty is because everyone is crammed right outside and heads there all at once.

At the other events I've been to at Bill Graham, the lines were formed very well. When I went to Popsicle last year (with ticket already in hand), the line was wrapped all the way around the building when we got there....and it still took us less than 10 minutes to get in.

At last year's LF Afterparty, I had to go to will call to get my ticket, was told to change windows like four times, and still took an hour to get it although the furthest back I wawas like 20 peeps.

Hopefully they actually open the tickets booths at 1pm this year...I hope. They said they would last year but the booths didn't open until like 8:45pm! That's what killed everything.

I have no control over how things are run as far as tickets go, let's just hope lessons have been learned.

4. a VIP bar (don't care if I have to pay for the drinks), but don't make us wait in line over 30 mins, (no exaggeration!) for a drink after having paid $$ more for VIP

VIP at EDC was decent but wasnt worth the price as I only wanted to take pictures and the main stage view wasn't what I expected... as always with these massive events :whip:
