Well these people are obviously pushed beyond the edge when they align themselves with such beliefs. Some don't know any better. There's definitely an element of madness involved with some, for others it's purely a clash of cultures of civilizations. America isn't really helping curb the hate, or their image,r with their actions.

I know you don't condone their actions, but all their perceived grievances do not legitimize the methods and actions that they use.

Justifying something, and understanding why it happens are 2 different things.

And didn't you say in your previous post that "these people may have legitimate grievances"

Yeah. Hence why I said 'may', b/c just like you, I can see why they may be pissed off. :)

I've always been a firm believer that there's 2 sides to every story. These people may seem like monsters to us, but to a lot of people they may be hero's (as the saying goes "One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist").

why do you guys look at it as good vs. evil, isn't it more the haves vs the have-nots?

So?

Just because Stalin thought Hitler was a suave dude, that doesn't make Hitler cool.

A man should be judged by his actions and deeds, not what others think of him. (well if you don't know the dude)

Do you feel the same way about the suicide bombers, because they ARE heros to some....I don't think that quote means very much.

No. Considering these terrorist types have access to resources to make themselves as prosperous as anyone in the world.
