Lyrics that ruin songs

Why do producer's feel the need to play the one liner lyrics that destroy the groove?
Songs like:
Open Air - The Octagon
Low End Specialists - It Comes From Inside (Rene Amesz Remix)
Billy Newton Davis - I Like Your Music (Velvet Remix)
These have sick beats, but the repeating lyrics just kill it. |

| Cosmic Gate - This is The party. Not just the lyrics, but the horrible tone of voice |

in some cases it's not really the producers who are wanting to put vocals over the tracks... some tracks are very good with non-vocals but the labels feel that in order for those songs to achieve commercial success a vocal version should be released (for things including radio play for instance). tilt - invisible and cass & slide - perception are two examples...
some may find that these vocals ruin songs, and that could even be the case, but a lot of times it's vocal tracks that expose people to trance... a lot of people find trance with non-vocals to sound like "techno" (the catch-all genre everyone seems to use for edm when they know nothing about edm). it's usually a vocal trance track that helps "ease" them into edm. |

Ahh, that's a shame. Generally I'm against vocals, but I think they really add to the track in this case.
Sander's new mix of "King Of My Castle" is the first example that came to my mind. The dub mix is so much better. |

Well I actually don't mind them, but the line "sometimes the sound of goodbye is louder than any drum beat" is just plain odd. |

Without a doubt the worst lyrics ever written. And the singing isn't much better either. |

For me, just about any of the cheese ass vocals in a trance track lately.
And the vocals in Sex N Money. The only version of that I could stand was some dub mix I heard. |

| Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo lyrics are pretty lame. |
