Really good bit of kit, and criminally underrated in some sections of the music biz because of it's "measly" four voices. Um, it's Korg's take on VA based on the MS20 (& MS10); both monosynths. You were meant to view it as a monosynth with the ability to layer and get 4 voices if required, not as a polyphonic monster.
Often thought that Korg may ahve had a "better/more popular" synth on their hands if they had of released it as a VA monosynth, the mass populace would haev probably lapped it up.
Well liked in psy-trance circles for both it's bass abilities and it's amazing sequencing abilities. Three times 16 step analogue style sequencers? Nice. |
