Imm lookin to get a new graphics card, and need some advice on what to get, as the only reviews i see these days are for AGP 4x boards, not the 2x which my motherboard supports

for all my knowledge, the cards that are 4x 'should' be supported, but i remember that there was something with supply voltage being switched from 5V to 3.3V between 2 of the _MANY_ AGP revisions. |

i did think that was possible, but when i upgrade ill be buying a complete new system and just sell my current system to a mate or something, so there would be no point in me getin a 4x one, even though i do think it would work

my motherboard only supports AGP 2X, but i bought a geoforce3 ti200 recently for $150 US dollars and it works great, most of the geoforce cards support both AGP 2x and 4x. You can get a Geoforce2 for about $70 US dollars i suppose if you plan on getting everything new soon...
