i'm looking for oxia style techno, but really have no idea where to look.
i've bought a bunch of oxia (14 to be exact) tunes in the past month after checking out what he's produced after liking one track.
i know oxia is n00b techno in most people's opinions but i don't really give a as i like it. i'd call it a bit more melodic than most other techno i've heard and i'd really like to find more similar stuff.
if anyone has any recommendations then fire away.

Try these:
Discemi - Data Sapiens (Original/Radio Slave Remix)
Davis & May - Neotron (R Davis Edit)
almost everything from Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, Thomas Schumacher
Nasty & Tresher - The Well Served Event
Gregor Tresher - The Now People

who'd ever say oxia is a noob? he's been puttin out techno records since '95!
I just saw him on saturday evening as well, he definetely delivered the goods like a veteran, great show :)
If u want stuff like his new style, just check out confused recordings and go from there |

Oxia stuff on goodlife is pretty good, I went off him recently with his release speicher 34 which is a bit of a rip of patrick chardonnet - eve by day
Some of my favourite oxia stuff:
oxia & len faki - the last test part 1
Oxia - Hasard
Oxia - 24 Heures (album) (i especially like tnn on this)
For stuff like oxia just check out all the stuff coming out on speicher kompakt it's all pretty much the same.. |

thanks for the recommendations guys! i'll be sure to check them out.
and as far as oxia being n00b techno, i've always gotten that image from people's posts, dunno and don't care either.
these are the tracks i've liked and bought from him (from listening to samples at beatport/trackitdown/resonantvibes)
oxia - contrast (original mix)
electric rescue - ghosts are coming (oxia remix)
the hacker & mount sims - traces (oxia mix)
markus lange - ruhestorung plattenbau (oxia remix)
oxia & gino's and snake plissken - seven (oxia rework mix)
oxia - bouni (original mix)
oxia & eric borgo - another man (07 remix)
oxia - domino (original mix)
oxia - change works (original mix)
oxia - source (original mix)
oxia - troisieme (original mix)
the hacker vs. oxia - nothing lasts (oxia remix)
tim taylor - over the hill (oxia remix)
oxia - check the m... (original mix)
also i'm not a big fan of minimal at all and apparently at least someone classes some oxia tunes as minimal, even though to me it doesn't sound anything like the stuff that's usually called minimal. :conf: |

Quoted for truth.
Speicher 37 is bomb. Especially Tom Pooks - Pablo Assan's. |
