This is just one trade that is executed all in one day.
I have $50,000. I buy 1675 shares of stock at $29.75. Through the course of the day, shares go up a mere 30 cents. I sell pocketing $50,335. I made $335 from just ONE trade in a one day. The time it takes can be as little as a few minutes or your trade can last all day. Make 3 or 4 trades per day, and you'll see what I'm talking about. |
now yer talkin' :wtf: |

You don't need a dead-end job. People think they can become wealthy by the job they have, or how intelligent they are. It's none of that. It's the simple application of compounding interest that makes people wealthy. You can work for 200k per year, but that don't mean if I can make hundreds/thousands per day sitting on my ass.
Investing is money making money. You can work all your life for your money if you want to, but I rather enjoy sitting on my ass, while I make obscene amounts of money. |
Yes, but you don't. |

Gotta start from somewhere. |

Yes, and you won't go anywhere. You have a better chance of working your ass off and getting rich, than you do "Sitting on your ass" and getting rich. Pretty much 1000000:1
How are you going to get this money to invest? Are you going to sit on your ass for that, too? Maybe you can invest a dollar and have it turn into 1 million. :haha: |

You miss the point entirely. Work, save, and invest. Once I have like $20-30k, I'm taking $5000, and test the day trading strategies I've studied with real $$$. Once I know I've mastered, that's the day I quit my job, and not work another day in my life. From then on, I work for myself, and get to do whatever I want. If I start a business, yea I work, but it's for myself, and so much more can be made then. |

if you know what you're doing it's the best goal
the point is you can't have any schmuck off the street invest x amount into company y and hope to become rich
in reality you can start off with as little as $500 and play the penny stocks.. with time and experience you will have made enough to move on to big boards

yeah my dad makes over 1k a week in stocks. Its all just sitting there earning cash. Its better than a bank is the point marc. No one is saying dont work. No one is saying dont save. everyone is saying that there are the 0% annual returns of a sock drawer, 4% annual returns on a bank account, or 15% returns on stocks or more.
This just goes to prove that youll argue against anything...ffs arguing against earning money through multiple avenues? |

Maybe, but being broke and eating 20c noodles is probably about as close to hell as you can get.
I bought my first house out of shares, #4 and 5 where also bought outright after liquidating my portfolio early this year. |
