Ian, will it be raining in Northamptonshire on Sunday ?

Possibility of a shower on saturday for qualifying, but it should (and right now I mean should) be better. Sunday for the race should be nice. Very Nice, but right now things can change so often with the winds/rains we have that trying to predict how things will be for the racing won't be accurate until friday :p

As things stand here now, we must've had a good half inch to inch of rain once again today, and we're about 1 hour to 1.5 hours north of northants on the motorway

thanks for the first hand update. The rain might be fun though, the race would be really interesting, still even if qually rain mixes things up it should be fun too.

lol we have a brit working with us. Shes like 70 and crazy and as she was leaving told everyone to have fun celebrating "kicking us out" and I was the only one who laughed. Someone actually asked what she meant and she said "Im British, love, you won your independence from us"

Pretty much. And it's interesting to think about after what Will said earlier about how 200 years ago we left because we were fed up with bull. If parts of Earth were still unexplored and you knew there was habitable free land, how many of you would get the out of here?

Kind of hard for me to separate the two.

I actually think it's kind of a shame that people are even celebrating today - every time I see a 40 year old soccer mom in an American Flag Sweater or 10 flags hanging off balconies of nearby apartments, I wonder if people are actually even cognisant of what's going on with America beyond their little backyard BBQ and fireworks.

The obliviousness of people in this country is ing sickening.

I'm officially putting the 4th of July on notice.

I think thats what bothers me most. It's hard to be festive when you know so much about what is going on, and how horrible most of the realities of this country's history are.
