Proton was started about 5 years ago by Sam Packer as a way for a few like-minded friends who enjoyed music to share and listen to their favorite djs. Jason Walsteder handles the label side and hosts a show called Particles.
I've been involved since early 2003 and mixed the 1st compilation in 2004. Currently proton is avail as a free stream, OnDemand for members, a label and we have Proton sessions/sponsored events around the world.
