Damn...a month...must be painful paying that rent.

Ugh, this sucks, I really wanted to go to this but I'm getting sworn in to my union on Monday and have to pay over $300 for an initiation fee. Even though it's free, I need to save every dime I can this weekend. I'm so pissed!

Far from it and well worth it. What other union pays for you (and your spouse) to go to college wherever you want for whatever you want?

good deal, but why would they pay for YOU to go to college? That seems a little contrary to their own interests.

you're absolutely right, and it has hurt them once or twice. but a former president of the union (Harry van Arsdale) was HUGE on college and education so it has just stuck over the years. Besides, I'm sure there would be a huge out-cry if they tried to take it away.
