Can't decide if I really like this track or not. Heard Dave Seaman drop it and was rather intrigued. Out on Audio Therapy with a host of remixes and an acapella available. The main reason I'm interested in this is because it's obviously a take on the Simple Minds track from The Breakfast Club :p

Yeah I can't decide if I like it. I just really dig the drugged out robotic voice of the girl.

I've not heard anything from this cunt in years. Gonna check it out.

I think this might be as bad as Tyas' remix of "Thunderstruck."

Awful.

audiotherapist
nope its not really old - was released a few weeks ago with a very tasty remix from Serge Santiago and a Loafer edit

Dino Da Cassino
Don't You (Forget About Me)
Out Now on 12" Vinyl & Digital Download

There are some things that when written down on paper sound truly awful and
By our reckoning at least, an Italian dance cover version of the Simple
Minds soft rock classic 'Don't You Forget About Me' would fall into that
category. But, as the old proverb goes "never judge a book by it's cover",
because here's one that defies all preconceptions.

With a rather tasty edit from Loafer and a storming remix from Space
resident Serge Santiago this package looks set to get a lot of attention
over the summer season.

Fresh from his Top 40 hit success as co-producer of Meck's 'Feels Like
Home', veteran Italian house producer Dino Lenny dons his Dino Da Cassino
guise to deliver an amazing throbbing electronic interpretation so far
removed from the original that you'd be hard pushed draw any comparisons
other than the lyrics.

Even the melody has been stripped away. Infact, it would all have Jim Kerr
turning in his grave if he were dead, which he isn't, so we'll shut up and
let you judge for yourselves. In the highly unlikely circumstances however,
that you find yourself not completely bowled over and head over heels in
love with the aforementioned, then we've only gone and got the wonder that
is Serge Santiago to give us his slant on proceedings. Fresh off the back of
his wonderful Rapture and Armand Van Helden remixes, Serge drops the vox and
hits us with an efx laden twisted dub that would have Jim Kerr turning in
his .... oh, sorry we've used that one already haven't we. Anyway, you get
the picture....
