Ive been feeling pretty twisted. (pg. 6)

vlad: you will fail the MCATs if you dont have any time away from this . you can only take so much. you have to give yourself breaks. really if you were to study in 2hr increments. do something and then come back to it you will actually remember more. you have to give your brain time to absorb the information. also make it fun. if its fun and enjoyable you will absorb it faster. ever notice that you remember night of 12hrs long but you cant remember even half the you studied in a 4hr period? :)
if you havent figured it out, i basically said cramming = total loss. in an effort to cram you lose other info because its not committed to long term memory. so therefore something you read 20mins ago may have already been lost. |

Im not cramming at all, Im just going chapter by chapter. Trying to cram this much information is impossible anyway, its not worth it. My biggest obsticle to studying are my parents, they keep interrupting me when im trying to study, and than they get mad when I tell them to piss off. |

and you really expect russians to allow people to have peace and quiet? were all ing loud as hell and always having some sort of gathering! |

Yea, Im gonna start going to the library, I cant handle being home, I need to be left alone.
Since I have 3 weeks to prepare... I will be sort of cramming, but its not stuff that I dont already know, it just need my memory refreshed and I need practice doing the stuff. |

well just remember you need breaks about every 2hrs to keep from getting mentally exhausted. |

that's the price you have to pay for being a doctor. unless you're a genius type (as opposed to just being really, really smart, and cut out for med school, which i'm guessing that's you) you pretty much need to kiss your social life goodbye during med school.
u have kids and a family first and it won't happen later, trust me.
suck it up and do it. you'll be living it up in your late 20's/early 30's. still plenty of time to play:) |
