CS Microphone XP problem *simple command fix..just don't remember it*

whats the command you put at the end of your shortcut for counterstrike so that your mic works, for xp with creative sound cards?
i used to have it..but i've forgotten it |

I think thats it, if it doesn't work I vaguely remember one version of it was longer, something about zone 4096.
Probably best to go to the CS forums (www.counter-strike.net) and search there .. heaps of threads on this topic.. |

| yep, meister is bang on. i had the same problems. i have SB with XP , and my mic would occasionally work and the other part would be complete static. so frustrating. my mic isn't 100 hundred percent now but you can hear it ok. i need to find a way to disable the "+20 db hardware gain" in voice tweak, because when i take it off it sounds perfectly normal when i test it, but when i uncheck it, the program restores it to checked on when i close it. so ghey. oh well. don't forget that if you use a program like HLIT or gamespy to find games that you have to put it into the launch command line too. |
