lol okay that's awesome. picked my dog up from the vet today and they had to anesthetize him to clean his teeth. He was all out of it and bleary eyed. I felt so horrible seeing him so weak :/
On the way home he was trying to crawl onto my lap really weakly, i think they over-anesthetized him :mad:
i let him crawl over of course and he navigated me home. poor little buddy :( |

i hate that too...imagine having to carry a 105 lbs lab and having to be careful because his hind legs are in pain...almost threw a disc lol |

brutal. at least he's loved enough to get taken care of. labs are frigging awesome dogs, and smart enough to understand you're there for them. yeah labs are really awesome, me rikey |

wasnt so much the weight as just finding a position to carry without him being uncomfortable..im a big guy but 105 is alot of dog...the only thing that sucks with labs is the hip conditions...90% of all pure breads suffer from it. Best dog around kids though bar none..and still tough enough to guard...<3 im gonna miss him when his time comes...already 15 which is ancient for a pure. |

yeah my parents have had English Bulldogs for a looong time now. I absolutely love them, their character is amazing. But we've lost a lot of them quite early, some right around the 1 year mark which is incredibly painful. I really can't say they're not worth it, even for a few months, just have the money to be able to give them a good life before you buy a pure. Otherwise go mutt. |
