Alicia Ross's murder was sentenced today.
He gets life and eligible for parole in 16 years. I hope he rots there forever.
I'll always be remember you Alicia. You've been a great colleague and friend. I miss our smoke breaks and your smile.
Justice is now served and the trials are over, and I can move on. Her family will have a harder time than I will. I learned a lot from this experience, and I hope no one else has to go through a similar ordeal.
Value life, live it to the most. You never know how short it really is. |
