Ok...

if filming started in Jan of 07 it's bound to have some type of info leak, right? just by watching the trailer there are like 40+ extras running from the thing, somebody has to know something? If I was a richtard I'd pay someone (like an extra) off the set $10,000 (pocket change) to leak some type of info out. You guys see where I'm coming from?

BTW, really nice clear trailer here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=cvex7lU_kOA

no it's even worse ........ it's a sequel to a movie made almost 15 years ago ...... :nervous:
Ripped Bag
All of the stuff linked and being ripped from the net is likely a publicity thing. Watch the videos, visit the website, its all just to build hype about the movie.

Its fun, but speculation is going to get you no where. A lot of the sites are said be fakes to lead you in another direction just to make you think its something different.

Non-Disclosure Agreements (contractual obligation not to leak information). You make someone sign a paper saying they won't say , and if they do, you sue them for a million dollars and kill their mother.

yes, of course contracts are always in the way, but movie info always get leaked. in some cases, dvd screeners get leaked before the movie is even released!

anyways, this looks legit: http://cloverfieldcracked.blogspot.com/

I hope it's about an 'end of the world' type of sort of thing. That looks like something JJ would produce. I just hope it's not some gay monster using his penis to pierce through some city, blowing things up.

his theme of ambiguity and secrets makes it seem that it might just be 2 hours of special effects, destruction, death and calamity followed by credits and massive discussion about :

"wow, that didn't answer . i call Revelations, it was the end of the world"
"No way, that must've been Cthulhu, it was a monster roaring"
"No way, it was Lavos from Chrono Trigger, didn't you see the fireballs?"
"no way, it was a science experiment gone wrong. Didn't you see that Lost-style FLASHBACK from Josh when he was working at Area 51?"

anyways, i call Cthulhu, and the film is either a 9/11-style newscast, or a realtime depiction of kids through the ordeal starting at ~12am to the end of the film.
How long does an old tape video camera last anyways?
Also, the marketing team said to "pick up anything that isn't tied down" at Comic-Con". i'm guessing they are alluding to a flash drive.
