His claim of not being able to get to the event untit it was "too late" is unnaceptable. It's called a Taxi Tijs, get with the program. |
what a load of crap. When a dj is on tour or in a foreign country it's normal that the organiser is responsible organising transportation to the venue. In almost all cases this is stated in their contracts. Also paying in Dinars is crazy, in the contract it's saying that payment must be done in euros or dollars. If the organiser doesn't do this the artists has the right to walk out. |

Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Bahrain all are same.. someone will just kidnap and behead you, right? |
There's certainly a much higher chance of that happening over there than in most other countries. So please stop being a politically correct bigot. |

So let me get this right............Tiesto and his entourage couldn't be arsed booking a taxi to get to the gig?
Ok the promoter ed up, but in the case for any normal dj, they would surely get to the gig.........if they really wanted to. Not difficult really.
I am sure the Tiesto franchise would have found a way to convert the cash to a currency of his choosing at some point when they stopped of at one of the various airports on his world tour, right??
From my own perspective, it looks like Tiesto is only in in for the money now and not the fans at all. |

Yeah that's what gets me. If it was just some contractual disagreements, why is the dude in jail? |
