“DANCE VALLEY 2007 – The Compilation by Ferry Corsten”
Voor het 13e achtereenvolgende jaar zal er op zaterdag 14 juli a.s. op Recreatiegebied Spaarnwoude wederom een ongetwijfeld fantastische editie van Dance Valley gaan plaatsvinden. Wat begon in 1995 als een kleinschalig intiem dance festival met slechts een paar area’s voor een handjevol dance puristen, is dertien jaar later uitgegroeid tot een volwassen, wereldvermaard en international gerespecteerd festival. Gemiddeld 50.000 partygangers, afkomstig uit alle uithoeken van de globe, vinden elk jaar weer hun weg naar Recreatiegebeid Spaarnwoude om op te kunnen gaan in de sets van de absolute DJ elite; er is letterlijk geen top DJ te noemen die niet op Dance Valley heeft mogen optreden! Na de afgelopen twee edities die een heel weekend besloeg keert Dance Valley weer terug naar hun oude vertrouwde terrein op de oude vertrouwde zaterdag.
Voor het derde achtereenvolgende jaar zal Mid-Town Records weer zorg dragen voor de Dance Valley CD release. Na edities van de Zweedse grootmeester StoneBridge, neerlands techtrance held Marcel Woods (beide 2005) en de laatste techtrance aanwinst Sander van Doorn (2006), is het dit jaar de beurt aan één van de headliners van Dance Valley 2007 Main Stage: internationale superster Ferry Corsten. Ferry is absoluut niet nieuw met het fenomeen Dance Valley; buiten het feit dat Ferry er al vanaf 2001 elk jaar heeft gestaan - tijdens Dance Valley 2006 had hij zelfs zijn eigen L.E.F. stage! - maakte hij al in 2001 het officiële anthem voor dit festival, had hij al de eer om in 2001 en 2004 de Dance Valley compilatie voor zijn rekening te nemen . Met twee artiestenalbums op zak - “Right of Way” en “L.E.F.“ -, een stapel internationale hits, een even zo grote stapel remixen voor gelauwerde nationale en internationale artiesten en menig mix compilatie, is Ferry bereid gevonden om voor de 2007 editie zijn live opgenomen DJ set op 14 juli ter beschikking te stellen voor een nieuwe Dance Valley compilatie.
Ferry Corsten heeft in zijn langlopende carrière nagenoeg alle nationale en internationale dansvloeren en podia in clubs en op evenementen en festivals mogen rocken, maar heeft na al die jaren nog steeds een warm plekje in het dance-hart voor Dance Valley… “Dance Valley heeft voor mij een speciale plek in mijn hart omdat in deze vallei de DJ en het publiek echt samen het feest maken. Het is dan ook een eer dat Dance Valley heeft gevraagd mijn DJ set op 14 juli live op te nemen en kort daarna als compilatie cd te uit te brengen. Zo’n compilatie is voor mij net als een foto album een geweldig na slagwerk aan een mooie herinnering”, aldus Ferry Corsten.
De dubbel CD “Dance Valley 2007 – Ferry Corsten Live At Dance Valley 2007” zal een week na het evenement te krijgen zijn in de betere (internet) platenzaken
