Ever since I formatted my disk and got Windows up again, default view for icons in folders is set to tiles. How do I set the default to details instead of tiles? I'm used to that because it's easier to browse and it looks more clean, especially for music albums.
Thanks. |

I tryed that too, but it doesn't set those settings as default for all the folders of that kind (containing mp3s).
I'd have to set it manually for all of them and I don't want to do that for 1000+ folders. |

ok and while we're asking computer questions, how the HELL do i make it so that when i click IE, it goes to a webpage? i have vista and i have some "tab" thing. it's annoying. i can't figure it out. i don't mind having the tabs at the top of the page, but how do i make it so that when i open a new tab, it goes to a website instead of a blank tab page?
thanks:) |

set the folder you in to the way you want. then go to view folder options. then click the button that says make default or something like that. :)

Get all your settings applied in one folder of your choice (doesn't matter which,) then go Tools -> Folder Options -> View Tab -> Apply To All Folders.

| Thanks you two, that did it. :) Now I just have to remove artist/title/album/track number/duration/bit rate from my Windows folder. :D |

Another question... I want to search for files containing comma, but when I do so, it just lists all the files from searched folder. If I want to search for files that contain comma and, for example, word "life", it lists all the files that contain word "life", both with and without comma.
Help? |
