Severe thunderstorm watch for
City of Toronto continued
Scattered thunderstorms moving across portions of southern Ontario this morning may become locally severe with large hail and potentially damaging winds.
Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.
At 8:55 AM weather radar indicates a line of strong to severe thunderstorms extending from Arthur to near lucknow with motion southeastwards at around 40 km/h. The main threats from these storms is large hail..Torrential rain and intense frequent lightning. There is also a slight risk of brief damaging wind gusts.
A warm front crossing southern Ontario today is generating scattered morning thunderstorms. A few of these may become severe with hail..Intense lightning and torrential rain being the main concerns. There is a lesser threat of brief damaging wind gusts. |

FFS! I had tickets for all 3 days and gave away Friday and Saturday figuring I'd go on Sunday.

Last time there was a huge storm here I was out running errands and got caught in the middle of it. Thankfully I had finished doing all my important stuff...cause I got drenched on the walk home...to the point that I probably looked more retarded for having my umbrella open than shut.
I almost lost a sandal in a stream of water from splashing too, lol. I would do it again in a second! |
