Better late than never

First one at the club, area where we were was totally new to me. I have never seen this little back room but it wasnt too bad. Apparently they hold D n B parties there. Sound was pretty solid i thought. Lighting was good but not sure if it was right for tribal.

Gboogie was on the decks doing what he does best. Sets up the mood well with some groovy tunes with a few harder tracks.

Next up, is Greg Benz, a local talent of London known around the world with many excellent productions with MD. It was also Greg's Birthday which led to some debauchery. Happy Bday bud. Greg also played a solid set.

Antoine soon took over the decks. I think he was a little late. Anyways overall his set was a little sloppy. My hope was that he would play some dirty tribal, which he did but he moved from tribal to his funky house stuff, then back to tribal then back again. Would have preferred starting with some lighter stuff then rocking it till the end.. but oh well. Def got me moving (due to my appreciation of tribal). He had to leave a little early cuz he was jet lagged apparently.

Finally Meekats took over and closed it off with pure solid tribal rhythms right to the end. Too bad a lot of people left early cuz they would have loved his set.

What could have made the night better?
- Cheaper cover at the door, $30 is really too expensive as many people wanted to come back especially after a long weekend, people are low on funds, if cover was $20 at the door, i think a good 30-50 more people would have showed up.
- more people (relates to point above)
- Antoine's set could have been better pieced
Lots of TA's were in attendance. Good
