I have read this book twice.
I've also read this book.

I love to read books written by and about successful men. I find their biographical accounts fascinating. It gives you sort of an insider perspective on these guys, their principles, qualities, struggle to rise to power and so on. Ok, they may have exaggerate a few things in their books, but you look at their success stories and you know atleast some of it must be true. I need recommendations for stuff like this. I've read enough books on great scientists. Now I want to read good books on famous and successful men and women from the business/ political world. |

Winning by Jack Welch
Unlike Straight from the Gut which was his autobiography and in which he spoke a lot about his personal life, in winning welch talks only about his management techniques and how he used them to 'WIN'.
What got you here wont get you there by Marshall Goldsmith
Book is targeted more towards the wealthy as its central point is to pinpoint to successful people that the habits that got them so far up will not help them get further but its something that any of us can read because it contains a lot of points that you can use at work or just in everyday life. Goldsmith is the most sought after consultant by leaders in the business world and apparently charges around $200,000 per session.:wtf: ... neverthless this book is absolutely amazing. |
