| how did they know you had your camera at Privilige? i've never had a problem before but i always put it in my back pocket before walking in... |

The only clubs that did a quick weapons check were Space and Privilege. I got my camera in space almost every time I went, except at the Matinee party Saturday Morning.
You could totally smuggle a camera in, but like a dumbass when the English or Australian bouncer asked what it was, I said it was a camera.
The best thing to do is to keep the camera in the same pocket as an object with a similar size. So when they ask what it is, you take out the other object, like a cell phone.
In a way, I was happy they took it. I didn't ever stop to take a clip, so I was dancing pretty much the whole time.
Maybe they are stricter on Friday nights @ Privilege because they don't want anyone copying their production! I could only imagine how Tiesto's EOL Tour will be there Aug 18th & 20th!
PS I fixed the first Cavo Paradiso clip that was not showing. |

hmmm...i don't remember any sort of security check at all the last time i went though as you said at Space, if it was obvious they would not let you take it in...
did they actually do a quick pat down?

The first space video is the Swen Weber remix of Djuma SoundSystem - Les Djinns I believe. |

Yes, I also saw the Civil Guard, randomly stopping some people walking on the property. I also saw a car check point down the hill from Amnesia.
They really don't bother tourist much, so if you look and dress like an American, your fine! I think they are just trying to regulate their own people. We're aren't their permanent problem. |

i guess Space is really bad about cameras though i'm pretty sure i brought one in the last time i went...i think i had baggy shorts on so it was fine. |
