ok, carrying on from what's in the other thread here
I was wondering what we'd take/consider from modern day engineering/project to make future lists.
for example, the projects taking place in Dubai (the world map etc)
thoughts ? |

mmmmmm......
the whole "amazing" thing is downplayed by the ammount of technology we have (plus i doubt any contractor would be hired for a 200 year job) |

technology can only do so much though mario. it still takes skill and talent to design something. I'm wondering what future generations will look at us for in envy |

not really. Ive always considered the Great Library of Alexandria to be a wonder. There are so many areas where it being ahead of its time, perplexing (easter Island, stonehenge), etc that I dont think there is any 1 thing that makes it a wonder. Thus the vote. If it was a self evident thing, theyd just say "here were the 7 hardest things to build" and the 787 dreamliner and nukes would be on there |
