Anyone have any clue in the slightest about how to go about doing this?

I have absoutely no idea where to start but I fancied designing my own wallpaper for my house, either that or designing and using my own stencils.

Anyone point me in the right direction?
Ian
it's a bit hard. U can get blown vinyl paper which u could then stencil onto once it was up and so forth, but having some printed, would be majorly costly imo

Yeah, i reckoned it would be rather expensive. I will have a look into vinyl paper. Cheers.

I print vinyl adhesive on a daily basis at work and it ain't cheap let me tell you that.

It comes out to around 10+ Quid a square meter of printed surface ...

you also have to take into account that vinyl ( mat or glossy either way ) is rated anywhere between 2 to 10 years ... the more durable the more expensive obviously.

this company here
:http://allprint.co.uk/index.html

sells printable wallpaper. Never tried it, no clue how it renders itself to long term usage but doing edge to edge printing is a pain in the arse cause very few machines handled that.

To add to Ian's statement, just do some stencils out of cardboard and stencil away.
Otherwise there are companies out there that specialize in custom wallpaper printing but it's always fairly expensive.
