Nah I never did either. I only joined rugby because you didn't actually have to try out for the team...but it turned out I was actually good at it. |

Team sports weren't really for me. I preferred individual sports where i was solely responsible for winning or ing up.
Badminton/Tennis FTW!
Although I didn't mind playing doubles if it were a friendly smash up. |

| I played tennis, basketball and swam as a kid. Played ice hockey when I was a freshman in HS, played football (american) when I was a senior in HS. |

| Yeah badminton! I wish I didn't discover how awesome it is AFTER high school...otherwise I would have totally played! |

i played tennis for 2 years, and softball for about a month until my coach (also a guidance counselor) yelled at me for being late to practice due to staying late after my calculus class to catch up on some work that i had missed. he told me to leave the practice and the next day i walked into his office and threw my jersey on his desk and said that school work is more important than the "team" and if he can't realize and agree with that, then he's a terrible guidance counselor.
being on the bowling team was probably one of my favorite experiences in high school. i played for 2 years and the 2nd year i was captain of the girls team. my brother played for the boys team so we got to hang out and go to practice together, and all the girls on my team were pretty chill. it wasn't really competitive, so it was basically just a good way to get free bowling with my friends after school.
i had a huge crush on my bowling coach too, LOL. it's so creepy when i think about it now, but man... i was obsessed with him. :stongue: |

| Wow so you were a hardcore bowler eh? I was too! My dad bought my sister and I both custom balls with our names engraved on them, lol. |

| Bowling is for guys that have absolutely no athletic ability, and are the ones who end up staying home and jerking off alot, giving them the inane strength in their dominant forearm to be able to bowl so well. |

LoL. So not true at all. My father was almost a pro bowler...and also extremely athletic. Plus he fathered a child when he was 56! |

hahahaha i should scan in his picture from the yearbook. you guys would laugh. he wasn't your typical overweight midwestern bowling dude. he was a younger, pretty good looking and pretty fit black man. he had a good sense of humor too.
ahhh, good ol' Mr. Washington... :stongue: |
