hah....that happens most of the time. it takes a lot of adjusting to get it to warp the tracks right especially on more complex trance tracks like the stuff pvd plays.

This is going to be my first time seeing PVD ever! I've always just skipped everytime he's in L.A. and i'm looking forward to a night of some crazy GDMF Trance music.

Plus it's a special occasion.

Can someone hype this thread please with some stories or vids.
I have high expectations.

imo he was awesome the last time he was here. and i'm sure he will pound it all night long this time no doubt. his live sets are hard as hell with a lot of energy. your feet will get tired for sure. :toothless

i just hope he doesnt play too wasted (which is usually the case)...sometimes he really doesnt live up to his name....pvd can be really outstanding or sometimes "not so good" from my experience (and ive seen him spin a couple of times already)...

To my understanding, PVD is always sober.

That's what I thought. I think mmeyn1 is confusing PVD for someone else. What a nOOb. :tongue2

i was part of the team that booked him for an asian tour before(5 countries), you can just imagine what was part of his talent fee...so im pretty sure in terms of PVD, ive seen him play more times that normal(asia, us and ibiza)...and yes, i am a newbie here but not to pvd...but then again, if you have a diff experience with him, then its all good, right?

The point is, he's a substance free DJ. And he's always been that way. I've been seeing him live since '01... I have seen him drink a beer or two over the course of the entire night (in Germany of course), but he's as drug free as they come ;)

well you do have a point there =) he barely does drink alcohol when he spins and in fact, he usually is very alive and overly energetic when he is on board...and yes,i was usually very very wasted...hehe...
