Mmmmm... a few precisions...
Globe is a JPop band and not a Trance band... So they do pop music and not Trance music... When I say pop music, I mean typical japanese pop music from the 90's... This is only my opinion, but I don't really like them... Don't like Keiko's voice as well, and don't like TK's music for this band, his work for Namie AMURO for instance is really better...
TK is one of the greatest producers in Japan, he takes care of artists like Namie AMURO, TRF, Globe, and a lot of others... He also is an author and compositor, who played for example with Jean Michel Jarre on July 14th 1998 under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
As Trance music has more and more succes in Japan, he has decided to make trance music too... He remixes a lot of tracks under the name of Tatsumaki, especially on the trance compilation SongNation 2 Trance. But honestly, his Trance remixes are not as good as those made by our european DJs... According to me, the only japanese DJ who is able to make really good trance tunes is t-kimura, also known as Orbitribe!
Raptor> that's true, Keiko and Ayu sang together at the end of the year 2001 on a charity single called A Song is born. This charity single is part of a project of charity made by TK for the victims of September 11th... |

nope...that's not true... -_-'
he's not Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki is the producer of MOVE... another group.
Well, Globe music is into trance since 2 years if i'm not wrong... I like all his material. Big fan here!!
Actually i'm more into japanese music than trance music. And yup, Keiko was the girl who sang with Ayumi. The song is called "A song is born".
There's a trance remix in AG that is really good too. :eyes: |

and for those of you seeking
Theres a Vincent de Moor mix of "Love Again" by Globe
and a Max Graham Mix of "Can't Stop Falling in Love"
Tetsuya Komura also did a track for the speed 2 soundtrack i think |

| Taishaku |
thats right ^__^
they have a remix album called "Global Trance", where some famous remixers and producers are remixing some famous Globe songs. and yes!! Tetsuya Komuro has a track in the Speed 2 ost :) |

| Well I don't really like Global Trance either... These tracks don't have the power of european remixes, or even of japanese remixes from Ayu, ELT or move's tunes... According to me this is not Trance remixes, as Globe's works are not Trance tracks... These are some kind of electronic pop... Just to compare, listen to move's last album, with some good tunes like Venus in Paradise, Promised Land or Come Together... These are actually more Trance than Globe's tracks... |

There are several dance groups in Japan...
Globe
Two-Mix
Favorite Blue
Every Little Thing
Move...
Dance music is pretty popular over there from what I gather. |
