As in Feist's?
Yea that book rocks!
But.....have any of you ever read Steven Eriksons novels? The Malazan Book of the Fallen? It's a 10 book series. 7 books have been released so far.
Seriously do yourself a favour and get the first book "Gardens Of The Moon". I guarantee you will like it more than any Dragonlance, Feist books, LOTR and the like etc. It's just THAT good!
Another good thing is that the first book was written in 1992 and the next ones are being written now so "Deadhouse Gates" the second book is so much more better and it keeps getting better ;)

You cover might be different if you are in US. What's up with your covers always being really ty anyway?
And back on topic, yes HP is a kids book so you can't compare it to proper fantasy but it's still good for a childrens book. I haven't seen the movie yet but I saw Emma Watson on tv and omg. she's getting hot! |

/begin conspiracy theory
i suspect it's the US govt's attempt at turning the kids away from education, using their imaginations, etc. so that they will fall into a trap of voting for whatever ridiculase policy/scam/propaganda they push out to the public at any given moment because they really don't know any better.
/end conspiracy theory |

the only people that ever say this are the people who are too stupid to change my mind. it changes often; the simple folk just don't notice. |

I've been keeping an eye out for those actually, I keep hearing a lot of good about them, but I've yet to see any in the bookstores around here. |

Really? Our bookstores are full of them up in Sydney. Well they keeping getting more in as they sell out.
Order all 7 that have come out so far from the net or something :p
EDIT - Go to this store, they will ship some from interstate if there;s none in Adelaide (which I highly doubt): http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/pr...553812176&db=au |

Well I was in both Angus&Robertson and Dymocks earlier today, and didn't see any of them. I'll check out borders next time I'm in the city though, if it's anywhere in SA, it'll be there. |

Haha; glad you took that the right way. Feel free to bag me about drinking lattes or watching more sport than I play. :p
Never been to Adelaide actually; maybe I should do a road trip? |
