actually i butchered your joke because i thought you were saying "doctor" when you were really saying "daughter". hahah
i do that a lot too when someone's telling a joke. if they lose me for a minute and i'm confused, i'm one of those, "wait wait, so the GUY walks in the bar? or the girlfriend does?" then they have to start answering my questions and the joke takes longer and then they're like, " jamie, now it's not gonna be funny" |

Well the joke carried an effect because you were laughing your scrawny arse off loong before i'd got to the punchline. That was a unique experience.
