Yeah... oh man that was bad.

Watched that with a friend who had already seen it. I was house-sitting and we watched it at like 2am in the dark, then she left and i was stuck at the house by myself. Not happy about that! My friend is evil sometimes.

Yea I definitely love the old cheesy ones like Night of the Living Dead, but I don't like modern cheesy horror flicks. It's weird. I like modern horror flicks with A-list actors. I can't ing stand cheesy acting. I think I'm the only person who didn't like all the Saws just because I couldn't get over the acting. I was laughing more than anything.

I LOVED What Lies Beneath with Michelle Pfieffer & Harrison Ford. I loved Signs and The Sixth Sense. Those are good recent horror films imo.

I'm picky about the new ones. I loved The Ring too.

If there's a decent actor or 2 in it, then it looks promising to me and I'll actually go to the movies to see it.

Oh and CHACH check ur ing PM already.
Lilith
Scanners and The Shining scared me really badly, about the only other more 'modern-ish' one to have me crying under a blanket was (I guess not technically a horror) 28 Days Later, it really didn't do much for my nerves. Neither did Alien come to think of it, that was some scary stuff...

I'm not one for the horror comedy genre, as most of you seem to be, but check out Slither if that's your thing.

My favorites:

The Others
Alien series
Session 9
Haute Tension
The Descent
Pitch Black
The Changeling
The Haunting
The Ring

I've check out a few of those Japanese horror movies too that all the new American ones are based one, and I can't believe all the hype surrounding those loads of crap.

That's Evil Dead hun, funny though, it was originally banned as it was quite risque for it's time.

Actually it might also have been in NOTLD 2 but I've never seen it.
