Pickles are highly acidic.
Eating too many pickles can eat away at your stomach lining and cause ulcers, and not to mention, throw off the PH balance of your tummy as well.
From experience, let me tell you, ulcers suck. A lot.
Don't eat too many.

From what I've gathered, you're wrong. Pickle acidity is actually less acidic than gastric acids. So eating pickles will not make your stomach anymore acidic to cause ulcers.
And also the fact that ulcers are caused by bacteria. Apparantly eating spicy or acidic food aggravates existing ulcers, but does not cause them.

if anyone wants the ultimate pickle eating experience. buy a jar of putters spicy dills. putter's is a jewish pickle factory in montreal quebec, that makes the best kosher dills BAR NONE. my last trip to montreal i bought a whole case of spicy dills (12 jars) and my obligatory 9 lb brisket of smoked meat from my favorite deli.
if anone wants a jar... pm me, i gots the mad hook ups (3 bucks a jar, you cant beat that)

I had an ulcer last year, and was advised by my doctor that the high intake of acidic foods (pineapple, strawberries, pickles etc.) was causing the break down of the stomach lining, making it prime for ulcers.
