ok, here is the story:
a cousin of mine has his own label.. does all sorts of things... hardcore (the screaming, not the gabber), punk, heavy metal, organizing of parties, trading in music of unknown quality artists.... but he/they got interested in the dance-scene as well, especially in the trance part (don't question who got him in there :D :D )... so they decided to compose a trance-album...:)
anywayz, I have not heard it yet, but he personaly thinks it's great and filled up with some harder trance......
...
BUT THE ALBUM STILL NEEDS A NAME!!!
so I thought: let's ask around here for suggestions :) :)
You now might ask to put up a tracklist or something..... well... it is not available yet... contracts with some artists are not all completed and stuff...
but I can tell you this:
album contains harder trance
artists all have a christian background, but do not directly express this clearly in there music....let's say you probably won't even notice it...but they are (partly) selected by that (it's a christian label)
so: pleaz put up your suggestions here :) .
Anything is welcome, and remember this: the album CAN contain a bit 'deeper' title....(we are not insulted by expressions like: 'trance is the prove that God wants us to be happy', as a mather of fact, I personally love statements like these)..... but this 'deeper' thought in the title is ABSOLUTELY NOT necesarry (a simple title like tranceminded or trancemania is welcome as well!!!!)
thanx in advance,
(p.s. I am not saying we are gonna use one of these, but at this moment we don't have a clue, so any suggestions and ideas are welcome :) )

I suggest "TRANCELATION". It will also be the title of my own unofficial mixed cd's, but I don't care if you use it too.
Great name by the way, kolkiewolkie...

I Made a mix CD a few weeks ago, and couldnt think of a name either. Then I formed a sentence out of the artist/track names, and it sounded kind of cool. My tracklist:
DJ Tatana - Words (DJ Energy Mix)
Daniel Ro - Jen R 8
Cygnus X - Positron (Marco's V.ision mix)
Ferry Corsten - Punk
Future Breeze - Temple of Dreams
Nebula - Orbital Park (DJ Gollum vs. DJ Yanny mix)
3 Am - Nessaja (Club Mix)
Blank and Jones - Desire (Bart Claessen Movin Mix)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto mix)
Soundgrabber - Acid Fighter (original Mix)
Disc Title: Words Generate a Positron Punk, in the Temple of Dreams at Orbital Park. At 3am Disire the Southern Sun, and become an Acid Fighter.
It was a bit of a long title to write on a CD, so you may want to pick something shorter, but this is one way to think up a title.
Other titles that I have come up with:
Earthly Audience to the Forgotten Dream
Lord of The Trance (could go nicely with the Christian Label)
Pax Aditus(Pax: harmony in musical context; Aditus: Latin for entrance, ingress) |

THANX THANX THANX!!!!
I've seen some really good suggestions already...
I personally love 'state of trance' or 'trancy state of mind' ... but both of them already are in use in the scene...
well, keep on posting :) |
