Russian Cuisine! YUM!

Meats, soups, salads, spirits. Everything is OHH SOOO YUM!

I ing love it, and I would love it even if I wasn't russian.

Pelmeni and vareniki are probably my two favorites. Just because there are so many varieties. You can do vareniki with cheese and potatoes or switch it up for breakfast and have them made with fruit.

Vodka is a dead giveaway for why I love this. But also things like kvas make my day, and tarhun!!! If you haven't had proper tarhun - it's a crime!

The meats and cheeses are what it's all about tho. I love it before any "real" dinner a bunch of platters of meats and cheeses are served; smoked, cooked, whatever your heart desires.

And last but not least, MOTHERIN' BORSCH! My mom (grandma's recipe) makes some tight borsch. Get me a couple of spoonfulls of sour cream into it and some rich dark bread and I'm in heaven.

RUSSIAN FOOD FTW!
