Well, some of the older stuff is listenable because it actually had "messages," but that seems to have mostly been replaced by idiots incapable of rapping about anything but women, drugs, and cars. So much newer rap seems almost like an unintentional minstrel show, some kind of nasty cobbling-together of all the worst stereotypes about blacks:

When women, drugs, money, bling and cars begin to be the topic, it seazes to be real hip hop...

hip hop with real meaning is dead...commercial hip-hop... not so much..it's in everywhere!! i just can't understand why so many ppl still like it..definitely not upbeat enough for my taste..EDM for life!
