pitch bend depth in cubase

i've rtfm, did searching online......i can't seem to figure out how to change the default "depth" of the pitch bend wheel on my midi keyboard. it can go one step up and one step down, and my psybient ambitions call for more.
anyone know how to do this? |

| Are you using it with a VSTi? If so, you'd probably need to change it in the configuration for the VSTi, the wheel itself just sends MIDI messages, 0-127. |

Pitchbend depth is indeed configured on the instrument side.
A pitchbend message usually uses 2 MIDI bytes, so it has actually more than 128 values (to be exact 16384, as otherwise the steps would be too audible). |

| yes, i use it solely w/vsts...hmmmm.....i've never seen pitchbend depth settings in any of my vsts before, but i'll take a closer look and see... |
