Well, I can say that KT rocked! LoL. I would go through the whole night (since I was there since doors opened) until the very end of KT's set, but thats too much to write LOL. Anyways here was the look into last night.
I stood in line from like 10:15 to 10:55 when they opened doors. We walked in and Lucho started his set with some prog. house, real chillin stuff. Nothing exciting. Sort of on the line of Deadmau5 tracks. W/E
Dancefloor did'nt get packed for like an hour. Then Seasunz got on and the for SOME REASON the floor got packed. They must really like that guy (he only played like 5 tracks and got off) Anyways when he finished (circa 12:15 something like that) Mark Ivan jumped on and played alot of tech house and prog house. Real chillin sorta boring set. Then it built up and he dropped alot of gems.
HIGHLIGHT GEM
Shinodoe - Phunk [Steve Angello Remix]
Daft Punk - Harder Faster Better Stronger [Deadmau5 Remix]
Killed the dancefloor. With all said, Mark Ivan provided a real solid set. Housey electro edge. Real Miami. The floor was packed and nuts near the end of Mark's set, which gave a perfect chance for KT to kill it.
@ around 1:30 KT jumps on with his prog house, prog trance, electro set. He begun sorta slow with some minimal house tracks, first two songs I think, and then BAM he was dropping those progressive house tracks with the electro influence. DANCETIME! The floor was full with ppl dancing and such. HE made his set STRONGER and Housier as the set progressed, bringing in those "electro trance" songs in there. All in all KT rocked all the night soon, and started slowly loosing ppl @ around 3 (it was an 18+ event, meaning alot of people STILL had curfews) so he toned it down a noth with a more proggy set, droppin things like his remix of "World is Mine" and Nic Chagalls mix of "The Anthem". I think he closed with "The Anthem". I forgot. Anyways alot of highlights and we got a chance to speak with him and chat about his tracks, releases, his haircut (he said he looked nothing like Oakey...totally different LOL. And so on and so forth. Real nice guy and he was real happy to be here.
HIGHLIGHT GEMS
Sander van Doorn - By Any Demand
Wamdue Project - King of my Castle [SvD Dub]
an electro mix of Elevation - Clear Blue
another sick electro mix of Greece 2000
David Guetta - The World is Mine [KT Remix]
Filo & Peri - Anthem [Nic Chagall Mix] (i really dont like it but it was killer live)
and can you all ID his song by the lyrics...
"OOOOOOH BABYYY
Cant do this to me BABYYYY
OOOOOOH BABYYY
CANT DO THIS TO ME BABYYYY"
ya da yada yada to DIEEEEE
something something TO CRYYYY"
LOL
anyways yea that was the night. Lucho closed and started with the WIppenberg Mix of "NEeds to Feel". Anyways that was a good night I suppose. Cant wait for Austin Leeds. Hope you guys liked my review.
