It seems like everyone in the parking lot got a ticket except for my friend. They probably felt bad for her car lol and didn't ticket her... We left at 8am...

now- nice night- only stayed till about 230- the trance was off the hook- only came because i wanted to see everyone and that's what i accomplished- good times- i would have loved to have stayed longer....but hey... its all good- - - the vibe was decent, normal guv style, from what i heard and saw of menno- i was impressed- boys got talent and he's going places.... so next big trance party, i must stick it out, sounds like everyone had an amazing time......

When that tune came on I went absolutely bonkers. The crowd was a bit of a pain so I crawled up on stage to get away from them.
Words just can't describe how happy I was to finally see Menno, and you could tell by his constant smile that he was happy to be there too.

glad you msg'd me during this track.
I wish I could have been there for this. I have wanted to see Menno for awhile now but this time it was just bad timing so I had to live through Nada for this one! :(

i didn't mind the warm up set... a set building up to pulverturm 2 gets me ready for anything :D even if the change in style when menno came on was abrupt

i went to hear some uplifting, fist-pounding trance anthems and that's what i got from menno :) i recognized a lot of siiiick tracks that were in his recorded sets going around. the only song that stuck out like a sore thumb to me was 'anthem' which made me go to the gallery for a little bit hahah... but the rest of the set seemed consistent from track to track, and he wasn't continually changing up the style by playing an overplayed gimmicky track (eg. life less ordinary) or anything, which seems to have become the norm to other DJs...

the closing set was much better as it picked up right where menno finished and kept the energy he built up going for quite a while...

everything fell into place perfectly for me this event, wasn't too crowded, friendly people, a ton of hilarious random moments... was great meeting abercrombie, italianpoison, darouge, nostrum, funkycrew, cenic, ozmosis and his friend who will apparently sign up for TA, invasionmix (and anyone else i missed) even though some of those conversations were short... and of course it's always great partying alongside everyone i've met already as well :D

Well I honestly tried to do it sober but I failed miserably.

I had an incredible experience last night:

--There were soooo many TAs/friends out last night, it was amazing!
--I spent some time in the Main Room for Menno's set and during that time I rocked out hard with all the TOTAs! So much fun.
--I spent the majority of my night inside the Gallery to catch a full serving of Miss Sydney Blu. Gallery was jumping last night: a) lots of friendly ppl, b) great tunes, and c) Syd's smiles and dancing =   Oh, and for the second week in a row I partied for hours with some guy named Sasha LOL.
--Derek: thank you for having us over beforehand.
--Spending abut 1.5 hours with Oz and his friend Emilie after leaving Guv around 6:30am was so fun and relaxing: it is easily one the BEST times I've ever had after leaving a club. Oz and Em: you are two amazing, very cool people! Thank you for chilling with me!
--Partying for the third straight week with Karyn, Tom, Dimitri, Luke, and so on was an absolute pleasure.
--Jay and Shaya: thank you for taking all of those pictures.
--I could mention sooo many other things but I'll just say that I really enjoyed myself last night and truly felt at home amongst an amazing group of people!

That does it for partying for me this summer (I think); I've hit up many events since the break started and I suppose that it's time for me to chill out and let things back to normal in time for school in September.

Thanks to everybody who was a part of my memorable time (from those who simply flashed me the odd smile to those who helped me destroy the dance floor throughout the night).

Worth price the admission right there.

Sounds like The Thrillseekers House mix. Well, that's about the only really mixable version of Saltwater and it's the remix he played at ASOT 300.

I hope he doesn't play Saltwater every gig... Classics like this should only be played once in a blue moon for its full goodness to be appreciated live.

But I really wish I was there :(

Midway is an alias of his. I had that track up for download on TA years ago ;)

I thought Menno's set was good but was too much of the same to have it's own distinct sound. I echo the sentiments of it being nice having heard some of the older tracks (+ that remix of VDM - Fly Away).

I just wished I stayed for Carte Blanche... fack.
