but anyways i recently tried it for some reason and i was brought back to the flavor of that bar.. although i havent had one in years. maybe im mistaken though :toothless |
That's a good point actually. Toblerone's DO have that taste, and here's me thinking the Swiss were only good for Cuckoo Clocks.
Oh yeah Medina, you should get the massive ing Tobelrone's you get at airports :) The ones you can barely fit in your carry on's. |

organic food isn't any different than "normal" food. it's just grown/raised differently. an apple is still an apple and a chicken is still a chicken... the only difference is that the apple was grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers, and the chicken wasn't pumped full of hormones and antibiotics.
i don't pay a ton of attention to whether stuff is "organic" or "all natural" or whatever other trendy names the food companies are slapping on foods in order to be Earth-concious. i eat fairly healthy and i usually try to buy stuff that i know is going to be good for me. fruits and veggies and good meats are always going to be more expensive than junk/boxed/processed food, regardless of whether they're organic or not... so it's worth it to me to shell out the money so i can eat better and feel healthier.
also, this might be kind of strange, but it makes me feel really warm and happy inside to know that the animals i'm eating came from a happy place, so i almost always try to buy meat that says "organic" or "cage-free" or "steroid-free" etc... sometimes i try to imagine what their lives were like before they got turned into food, and i really hope that they had time to graze and hang out in the sunshine with their buddies before they got turned into a tasty sammich which i will devour with great pleasure. |

myra that's what the CEO of Whole Foods said on an episode of 60 Minutes.
he was talking about how there are people who will argue that the quality of life in the food we eat is irrelevant because we end up killing them and eating them in the end anyway. his response was something to the effect of, "well we're all going to die some day too, does the quality of our life not matter"
made lots of sense actually and i feel the same way you do. i just haven't made the time to shop around for places for cheap organic food. |
