Ah. Tequila talk.

BLECH!

I love how people are so black and white about Tequila... people either hate it with a passion or they love it.

Same goes for Chatreuse. I love the stuff.

Even better is introducing it to people who've never even heard of it. I remember drinking with a soft one night who was doing shots of Bailey's, and I suggested he switch to Chatreuse instead. Needless to say, my old green buddy almost killed him. :haha:

LOL Herradura is really ty, it's like 7 dollars over here. And patron is the worse tequila I have ever tasted. And really expensive, i don't get why americans like it so much.

I think the best ones are Cazadores and Tradicional (frozen). And a special mention to cabo wago reposado which i tried last week and it's really awesome.

Fancy shmancy bottle, number with certificate of authenticity on bottle, high price tag = manipulate people into thinking its good tequila.

Fosters is Australia's worst beer, everyone over here hates that , yet people around the world apparently love it. I suppose it's the same deal with Mexico and it's Tequila (and Coronas! also beer).

One man's trash is another's treasure I suppose.

Over here the standard tequila sold is Jose Cuervo, which I think is pretty good, but in my opinion Herradura is a hell of a lot smoother. I believe you when you say it's ty by Mexican standards though.

I dont know how Corona's became to ing popular (Im guilty of it too at some point). This piss beer became part of euro-wannabie pop-culture.

I had Samuel Adams Heffenwiesen Friday night, it was pretty tasty.

Yeah, Coronas are . They are a non-beer drinker's beer, all watery and weak.

Add the lemon/lime in the neck thing and you have a drink truly worthy of your average poser/wanker in a club who would really rather drink vodka mixers.

Asahi has been my favourite for the past two years.

I can certainly understand people's hatred of Corona - especially those who fancy themselves wine or beer connoisseurs - but in my experience, Corona is a pretty situational drink. It's by no means 'versatile', I mean that it goes very well with decent Mexican food or better yet, Mrs. Vickie's Salt and Pepper flavoured potato chips. Holy .

Oh, also, triscuits come in black pepper and olive oil flavour now - goes amazingly well with a nice Corona.

I'm really not much of a beer-drinker though, so I guess maybe I just don't know any better. :p

Corona is only good when you are too drunk to drink anything else and you just want to stay in that state. if you know what i mean :D
