James Zabiela presents his third, eagerly anticipated single, as featured on his recent one +One compilation…
Following the success of ‘Robophobia’ and ‘Weird Science’, James Zabiela has once again teamed-up with Renaissance for his latest single instalment, ‘Human’.
The track first appeared on his recent ‘One+One’ compilation and created an immediate stir, igniting speculation and message boards around the world, which has lead to a white label recently doing the rounds! In response, the track has now been rush released digitally and will go live from this Thursday 5th July on Beatport / DJdownload and rest of world from Sunday 8th.
“Musically this is a bit of a departure for me,” says James, “I wanted to create something that paid homage to tracks I grew up with, whilst making a conscious decision to develop something different to my previous offerings, hence the title.”
‘Human’ is indeed Zabiela exploring a warmer sound. Alongside the trademarks we’ve come to know and love – the meticulous production, fierce bass and acidic subtleties – James incorporates soaring pads, a bell-like melody and haunting vocal to deliver a break that has ‘goosebumps’ written all over it; little wonder it has had fans and clubbers crying and going crazy all at the same time!

| It's the best Zabiela tune I've heard. That's not saying much. It's got some good elements, but I find it rather boring on its own. |
