I read about that earlier during the day, Its big news. |

why is it big news?
I read the title and i thought it was all of EA. I was thinking, wow, finally, an entire catalog of games with so much potential are going to get sequels that add content and not just a bump in polygons.
then I read EA sports, and I couldn't care less. Unless he is asking developers to make brand new sports like Donkey Rocket Football Arena, it's just going to be more $60 re-hashes of brand new ragdoll models. |

EA Games holds a monopoly on the PC gaming market. They rehash the same old all the time.
I'm hoping this is good news. A change of management has that potential. |

Only slightly more surprising than the fact that he worked DC before. |

on some sports, yes. nobody else can even use current nfl players in a game.
edit: nvm. just saw what you were responding to. yeah, not a monopoly. significant marketshare != monopoly |
