learning how to read would be as useful, seeing as the question was already asked and answered here.

Ok... so the drive there was 5.5 hours = record timing. The drive home sucked ass - 8.5 hours = wanted to hang myself.

The ride home was longer because A. we stopped for dinner, B. we stopped for gas and C. we drove a lot slower as we were both exhausted.

The hotel was mediocre. Gave us a place to sleep and a shower, so I was happy. Price for the Thursday night stay was $78 USD. The stays ANYWHERE for the Friday night were anywhere from 120-400, and even then, most of the hotels were booked up, so only the most expensive were available, (which is why we drove home the same night).

Went to an Applebees for the very first time. The food was really good (shrimp fettucine). The waiter was sooooo blown away by our Canadian money, so that was entertaining. Out of his American mouth "YOUR MONEY IS SO MUCH COOLER THAN OURS!!" Yea, that's right :p

We also had an argument about what iced tea is. Would someone please explain to me why it is that when I want iced tea, it's total in the united states? WTF??!?

The park = awesome. Even on a Friday, the lines were pretty insane. We managed to get on these:

Cedar Creek Mine Ride
Riders experience a runaway mine train when they step aboard the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. This rustic-themed roller coaster hurls passengers toward a lagoon and twists them through sharp spiral turns.

Corkscrew
You go upside down how many times?!? The Corkscrew was the first scream machine to span a midway and the world's first triple-looping coaster. After a ride on the twisted track of Corkscrew, riders get off wondering which way is up!

Disaster Transport
Passengers are transformed into futuristic astronauts when they enter Disaster Transport, a roller coaster space adventure.

Iron Dragon
Misty lagoons, towering treetops and a dizzying pretzel-knot finale provide the excitement on the swaying and banking Iron Dragon roller coaster.

Magnum XL-200
Voted the "Best Steel Roller Coaster in the World," this towering steel superstructure has one of the tallest hills (205 feet) and fastest rides (72 mph) anywhere on the planet!

Mantis
Located in the center of the park near the Millennium Force, Mantis rises from the Cedar Point Lagoons, challenging riders with its mammoth and twisted track. Riders are sent reeling through six awesome elements, including four that turn riders upside down!

Maverick
Cedar Point will take thrill-seekers on a Wild West journey aboard Maverick, its latest scream machine. Located in Frontiertown, Maverick will treat its passengers to a 2-minute, 30-second ride that will feature plenty of speed, changes in direction and "airtime!" This new bucking bronco will debut in June of 2007.

Raptor
An inverted roller coaster, Raptor has seats similar to ski lift chairs, suspended below its inverted track. Riders see nothing but the sky and track above them, and nothing but their dangling feet below - just a few feet above the ground! Raptor passengers also tumble head over heels six times!

Wicked Twister
Its a roller coaster with a twist! Wicked Twister is the tallest and fastest double-twisting impulse roller coaster in the world. This 215-foot-tall, 72-mph steel stunner is Cedar Points 15th scream machine. Wicked Twister is located on the beach side of the park, near the Giant Wheel.

Our ratings for these rides will come shortly (I have video of us rating them all).

My biggest disappointment - not getting on the Millennium Force. We wanted to, and were going to, but the line up was about 3-4 hours long. We were way too tired, and both of us were way too irritable to even bother with it. Next time we go, and we have gotten more sleep, and aren't both totally miserable, we'll wait in line forever for it.

We skipped the Dragster. I know from previous experience how much a waste of time that ride is. Luke was a little disappointed, but I finally made him realize that the 3 hour wait wasn't worth the 30 second ride.

I will upload vids and pics soon.

You know sometimes you just have to ask yourself, 'who the cares?' Usually the answer is only me and my gimpy grandma. So yea nobody gives a .
mezzir
ach yes, you must plan to go to the most popular coasters (e.g. the millenium force) eeeeeeearly in the day, like right when they open
if you liked the magnum, you seriously gotta go again sometime and check it out
especially given that the magnum's what, 205 feet? yeah the force is 310 :wtf:
and you break 90mph on a 80 degree incline (pretty much just straight ing down
its awesome

glad to hear it went well though!
Frenchie
OBVIOUSLY her friends care enough to want to know. So leave.

Zild
It isn't my fault you have a gimpy grandma.

And I can't leave because I had a physics exam today which means I have absolutely nothing else to do right now. That and I've drank about 14 or so beers and I don't want to get up from this chair for fear I might fall on my face and end up looking like you.
